OFFICIAL PRESS RELEASE FOR:

MARSHWIGGLE: DECOY SQUAD BY TERESSA L. DIGGS BRINGS WHIMSICAL ADVENTURE TO THE CRANBERRY BOG

A charming children’s tale blends imagination, friendship, and gentle suspense in a story of curiosity

and secret woodland creatures.

New York, NY, February 11, 2026 — Teressa L. Diggs invites young readers into a delightful world of imagination with Marshwiggle: Decoy Squad, a heartwarming children’s adventure set in a mysterious cranberry bog at the edge of town. Filled with curiosity, hidden villages, and playful suspense, the story celebrates childhood wonder while delivering a reassuring and joyful conclusion.

At the center of the story is Little Betsy, a spirited child fascinated by fairies, elves, and leprechauns. Determined to discover whether such magical beings truly exist, she slips away from the watchful eye of her babysitter, Joanie, and sets off on her own adventure. Drawn by curiosity and the promise of something extraordinary, Betsy wanders toward the cranberry bog, unaware of the worry her disappearance will cause.

As Betsy explores the bog, Joanie frantically searches for her, fearing not only for Betsy’s safety but also the

consequences of losing sight of the child in her care. The tension builds gently, creating a sense of urgency that young readers can understand without feeling overwhelmed.

Deep within the bog, Betsy stumbles upon something remarkable: a hidden Marshwiggle village. The

Marshwiggles, surprised and concerned that their secret world has been discovered, quickly consult their mayor for guidance. Prepared for such a possibility, the mayor activates a thoughtful plan to protect their hidden community while ensuring the young visitor returns safely home.

Through clever coordination and subtle guidance, the Marshwiggles lead Betsy back toward town, where Joanie and a team of cheerleaders have joined the search effort. The story concludes on a reassuring note as Betsy reunites with her babysitter, pretending she had merely been playing hide and seek. The Marshwiggles preserve the secrecy of their village, and Betsy carries with her the memory of a magical day.

Marshwiggle: Decoy Squad balances fantasy with themes of responsibility, imagination, and safety. Diggs crafts a narrative that encourages curiosity while reinforcing the importance of guidance and care. The enchanting woodland setting and lovable secret creatures create a whimsical atmosphere that will captivate young readers and spark creative play.
